The mirage is a full composite model at the scale of 1:9. With a length of 68.9'' and a wingspan of 37.3'' the flight weight is between 12.12 and 15.43 lbs. Therefore it is an ideal candidate for the new micro turbines with a thrust from 13 lbs (60 N).

Kit includes:
The model is white and the exposed parts of the fuselage and wings have been reinforced with carbon fiber for added structural integrity. The mirage comes with four fuselage support ribs and wing support structures made of 0.15” plywood and one wing support structure made of 0.35'' 7-ply. The landing gear compartment frames are made of 0.15'' poplar plywood. All of these are already laminated for ease of installation.

In addition, a prefabricated solid landing gear mount point made of 0.35'' 3-ply is also included which will need to be adjusted for the type of landing gear that is to be used. Two turbine ribs and the turbine lay on are also included.
The kit contains also the frames for the nose gear (nose gear compartment and nose gear mount point) and the tank frame (inside diameter according to the data provided by the customer). All ribs of the model are CNC made.

The aileron and rudder are also made of composite material; however, a piece of wood is mounted towards the leading edge of these pieces to allow easier installation and maintenance of the hinges by the customer. The canopy and the full composite service cover located on the under side of the model, are also included with this kit. Naturally a detailed and illustrated specification is attached as well.
