The F-14 is the ideal model for all pilots looking for the exceptional and nevertheless wants to have a lot of fun.

During the construction process a special value was given to the simple structure of the model. Nearly all parts are made of 3 and 6 mm Depron. To reach a proper stability wood is used in addition for exposed parts. Naturally all parts are CNC made and precisely tailored.

Even though the kit contains a lot of single components, it is easy to put them together. All of them are constructed in a way that it is nearly impossible to assemble them in a wrong way. The fuselage including the air intakes becomes mortised. The mortise dowel joints are individually designed for the single parts and fit together only in one way. Like this it can be ensured, that the different parts can not be mixed up when assembling the model.

The special clou of this small F-14 is that you do not need to do it without variable sweep wing. The sweeping of the wings is carried out by a micro servo (e.g. HS-81MG). The flight properties are very well-balanced for all wing positions. A particularly suitable model to take the opportunity of a short after work flight.

As power plant you can either use a central pusher engine (like an Axi 2212/26 with a 9x6 compression propeller) or two EDFs. Independent on the power plant you are choosing, you will be able to start the model yourself easily by hand.
